Hello, and thanks for checking us out! Here’s what you need to know before your initial consultation.

Hey there, Alex here from TaxButler. If you’re on this page, it’s likely that you are “so over” the stress that comes with having to deal with sales tax, and you are serious about letting a professional take care of it for you.

Great choice, because once you’ve done that, everything changes.

You get to enjoy the peace of mind, confidence, and sense of security, knowing that your sales tax is being taken care of.

We can probably help you with that. But since I don’t know your business, I can’t say for sure.

And you probably don’t know me very well yet, either.

So … let’s meet, and get to know each other and figure out if this thing is for you.

Here’s a heads-up on what will happen during our call.

First, I’ll spend some time asking you about your sales tax situation, and honing in on what your sales tax goals are.

I’ll ask a whole bunch of questions, but you won’t need to prepare anything because you’ll already know the answers to them.

Then I’ll be in a position to identify what you need to do to get compliant without wasting a ton of time or energy. I’ll likely present you with a few different options, and you’ll decide which path you want to take.

At that point, I’ll know if our services will be a good fit for your business.

If it’s not, I’ll probably be able to recommend someone else that would be a better fit.

And if we are a good fit, we can talk about different ways we help clients.

Of course, you’ll be able to ask me questions as well. That would be awfully rude of me to just grill you with questions the entire time!

And just so you know in advance, the typical investment for working with me to handle all of your sales tax ranges from as low as $100 a month up to $2,199 a month, depending on what your needs and budget are. The average for a small to midsize seller is about $240 a month.

I’ve tried to find a price point for almost every budget, which means that hiring us isn’t as expensive as you might think.

BTW: here’s what our meeting will NOT be…

Just so you know, our meeting is not some sort of “sales ambush” where you’ll get fear-mongered into purchasing compliance services you don’t need.

That’s just not how we operate.

Instead, it’s a chat between two adults to see if our sales tax services are right for you and to help you understand your situation a bit better.

And while I’ll identify if TaxButler™ would be a fit for your business, the meeting is also designed to give you some advice on what you should do next.

However, while I’ll provide you with general guidance on what steps should be taken to get compliant, we won’t go through all the details you’ll need to take on your own.

Frankly, I don’t want to give you this level of detail and then see you go mess the paperwork up. That would be irresponsible of me.

You know how it is … literacy isn’t mastery … the map is not the territory … and all those other things they say.

And here’s what I need from you before you book a time to chat…

Our entry level service (which is ideal for many people) usually costs around $300/mo.

I have another service that starts at $2,199 a month, and it may well be that we’ll talk about this option if it’s relevant to you, but we’ll figure that out together based on your needs and budget.

So … if you can afford at least $300/mo, I’m comfortable with setting aside my normal $300/hr consulting rate to see if I have something that can help you.

And yes, that $300 an hour rate is real. It’s what I charge for ongoing audit defense.

The only thing that I ask in return is that you come to the meeting seriously committed to resolving your sales tax problems, and that you can afford for us to work together if we agree that it’s a good idea for you.

Otherwise, there really is no point in us meeting because if we both agree that TaxButler™ is a good fit but you can’t afford it, then you’ll be disappointed, and I’ll be frustrated too.

The Three Agreements

🗹 I understand that during our chat, Alex will identify what I need to do in order to resolve my sales tax questions but I am also aware that the primary purpose of my chat with Alex is to figure out if TaxButler’s services can meet my needs.

🗹 I further understand that if TaxButler’s services are not right for my sales tax needs then Alex will do his best to identify a more suitable option for me.

🗹 Lastly, I understand that some of Alex’s clients invest $2,199 a month with him, but that his most popular program is about $300 a month. And I confirm that should we agree that TaxButler is a fit for my needs, I can afford at least $300 a month.
